Trip Details

  • Day 01 - Arrive at Lhasa (3,650 m)

    Welcome to Lhasa! Today upon your Lhasa landing, you will be welcomed by your Tibetan guide and escorted to lodging. Rest of the day you will have a decent rest to adjust the high elevation.
    Overnight at a lodging. No dinners included.

  • Day 02 - Guided City Tour of Lhasa

    After breakfast, we set off for an entire day guided touring visit. Today, we visit Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace (the late spring royal residence of Dalai Lama) and Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Square.

  • Day 03 - Guided City Tour of Lhasa

    Today, we visit two of the exceptionally huge Monasteries, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, of Tibet. The two cloisters are situated off the fundamental city. Likewise, we visit Tibetan Medical Center at night.

  • Day 04 - Drive to Gyantse (3,950 m) - 6 hours

  • Nepal entry visa if you are travelling to Tibet via Nepal (You can obtain the visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 15 days can be obtained by paying USD 25 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days and 90 days can be obtained by paying USD 40 and 100 respectively. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos.)
